Response to the announcement that the 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be played in Mississauga has exceeded all expectations. That’s why curling fans in Mississauga and the GTA will need to act quickly to lock down their perfect seats for the 2026 Scotties, which is scheduled for Jan. 23-Feb. 1 at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
The 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts is fast approaching. The Toronto Curling Association, in conjunction with Visit Mississauga and Curling Canada look forward to hosting the best in women’s curling from Friday January 23rd through Sunday February 1st inclusive. The event is being held at the newly renovated Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga. The venue has excellent sight lines, ample parking and is also hosting the Patch where spectators can relax between draws, enjoy excellent music, food and beverages, as well as interview sessions with the competing teams.
The event requires about 400 volunteers and we are happy to announce that all volunteer committees are now at capacity. The TCA clubs have provided about 65% of the volunteers, a true recognition of the support of our great game in the GTA.

Sandra Schmirler Foundation
This year marks a very special milestone—the 25th birthday of the Sandra Schmirler Foundation. For many years the Foundation’s telethon has proudly taken place on the first Sunday of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, continuing a tradition that honours Sandra’s legacy. To help bring this year’s telethon to life, the Foundation is once again seeking volunteers to answer phones during the event.
The telethon will take place at the Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre (5787 Hurontario St). Volunteers are asked to work a shift between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 25.
Volunteers will process donations on laptops from donors who call in to make donations throughout the day. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete this linked form, and a representative from the Sandra Schmirler Foundation will contact you. Or please send an email to Tanya Martin at tmartin@sandraschmirler.org.
Qualified teams
A huge congratulations to the reigning Canadian and World Champion, Rachel Homan, who has qualified to represent Canada at the 2026 Olympic Games, and thus won’t be defending her Scotties title. Four-time Canadian Champion and 2025 Scotties finalist, Kerri Einarson of Manitoba will now be Team Canada and is joined by 2025 Scotties play-off participants, Kayla Skrlik of Alberta and Christina Black of Nova Scotia. Team Black was the Olympic Trials runnerup. Two provincial/territorial champions have already been crowned (Melodie Forsyth for New Brunswick and Nicki Kaufman for Northwest Territories) and the field will be updated in early January with many more of Canada’s top teams to ensure that the 2026 Scotties has a superb field.
50/50 Draw
The 2026 Scotties includes a 50/50 draw. All proceeds from the 50/50 will be used to support the 21 clubs of the Toronto Curling Association.
The Early Bird draw is live and tickets can be purchased at
https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/stoh2026
The winning tickets will be posted on this page once the event starts.
In order to claim winnings from a successful 50/50 ticket bought on a point of sale device at the event once you have left the venue, you will need to complete a 2026 Scotties Prize Claim Form (linked below). The completed prize claim form must be mailed to general@torontocurling.com. In addition to completing and returning the form you will need to provide a scan of both the winning ticket and a government issued ID proving the ticket holder to be 18 or older.
