The 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts was a rousing success for Visit Mississauga, the Toronto Curling Association, and all the curling fans who came out to see the spectacular curling at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre.
Over 63,000 spectators took advantage of the Scotties coming to the Greater Toronto Area for the first time. Thanks to the support of the approximately 400 volunteers the event went off without a hitch despite a massive snowstorm on January 25th.
Ticket Sales
Ticket sales were beyond Curling Canada’s expectation. Anyone who doubted that the GTA would support curling were proven wrong. Curling Canada was so pleased with the event they would welcome Visit Mississauga and the Toronto Curling Association bidding for future events.
Sandra Schmirler Foundation
This year marked a very special milestone—the 25th birthday of the Sandra Schmirler Foundation. Once again, on the first Sunday of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the tradition continued and almost $1.2M was raised to support the Foundation.
50/50 Draw
The 50/50 draw was a huge success. All proceeds from the 50/50 will be used to support the 21 clubs of the Toronto Curling Association.
There are still three prizes to be claimed – see the attached information on the winners and the uncliamed prizes.
In order to claim winnings from a successful 50/50 ticket bought on a point of sale device at the event once you have left the venue, you will need to complete a 2026 Scotties Prize Claim Form (linked below). The completed prize claim form must be mailed to general@torontocurling.com. In addition to completing and returning the form you will need to provide a scan of both the winning ticket and a government issued ID proving the ticket holder to be 18 or older.
